I grew my first plants in the corners of FedEx envelopes. I stapled them to a construction wall. They did not last even one morning, so I was only able to take this one dim photo at dawn.
The next round of plants were in the bottoms of plastic bottles. I crocheted plant hangers from garden twine and hung them from signposts around Bushwick.

Some were adopted over the summer, I brought the others back inside in the fall.
Then I had the idea to attach the plants to abandoned bicycles.
